## Synopsis

Karadayi (2012-2015) is a Turkish national-television family melodrama series created by Sema Ergenekon and Eylem Canpolat for atv. When Nazif Kara (Çetin Tekindor) is imprisoned for a murder he did not commit, his household is thrown into upheaval, and his family members must fight for justice and for each other. Mahir Kara (Kenan İmirzalıoğlu) and Feride Şadoğlu (Bergüzar Korel) anchor the story as the central figures whose choices shape its emotional arc, supported by Turgut Akin (Yurdaer Okur), Necdet Güney (Erkan Avcı) and Ayten Alev (Melike İpek Yalova). The engine of the show is the steady pressure of a wrongful conviction: each episode turns on schemes, confrontations, secrets and reversals as the family pushes against a system and the people who benefit from its failure. Running three seasons and 115 episodes across a long serialized arc, the series builds its tension through accumulated grievance, loyalty and betrayal. Its tone is melodramatic, earnest and emotionally heavy, with a steady current of hope and perseverance. Set in contemporary Turkey, it offers the sweeping, character-driven storytelling of a classic Turkish dizi. Viewers who enjoy Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? and Prison Break will find resonance in its wrongful-imprisonment premise and its family-driven suspense.
