## Synopsis

Night Visions (2001) is an American horror anthology series created by Dan Angel and Billy Brown for FOX. Each hour-long episode is split into two half-hour stories, each self-contained with its own cast and its own supernatural or darkly human premise. Henry Rollins appears as the host who frames the tales, while guest players such as Michael Rapaport, Lou Diamond Phillips, Marla Sokoloff and Brendan Fletcher carry individual segments. The engine of each story is a single ordinary person pushed toward a terrible reckoning: a stranded traveler, a grieving family member, a witness to something no one believes, or a character whose choices invite a supernatural consequence. Because the stories share no characters or continuing plot, viewers can dip into any episode and expect a complete arc in roughly thirty minutes. The series runs for one season of ten episodes and was produced by Angel/Brown Productions with Warner Bros. Television. The tone is grim, eerie and unsettling, with a heavy emphasis on moral dread and sudden shocking endings. Fans of The Twilight Zone, Tales from the Crypt and Black Mirror will find similar pleasures in its compact, twist-driven storytelling.
