## Synopsis

American Chopper (2003-2019) is a United States reality docuseries broadcast on TLC and Discovery. It follows Paul Teutul Sr. and his son Paul Teutul Jr., who run a custom motorcycle shop building bespoke chopper-style motorcycles. Their working relationship is the engine of each episode: a client's commission arrives, the pair argue over design, budget and deadlines, and the bikes must be finished before a set date. Michael Teutul and the shop's crew appear in the background of the workshop, adding to the busy, loud atmosphere of the floor. Across eight seasons and 185 episodes, the show is built around a case-by-case rhythm of commissions, cutaways to fabrication and heated confrontations. The mood is brash, combative and proudly blue-collar, with a strong American motorcycle culture flavour. Fans of Orange County Choppers, Overhaulin' and Pawn Stars will find similar resonance in its workshop craft and family business dynamics.
