## Synopsis

Countdown: Canelo vs. Crawford (2025) is an American sports documentary miniseries produced for Netflix. Across two 45-minute episodes, the series follows super middleweight champions Canelo Alvarez and Terence Crawford as they prepare for their once in a lifetime matchup, moving between their training camps, gyms, and private lives. Narration by Josh Brolin (voice) frames the buildup, while the fighters appear as themselves, speaking candidly about discipline, pressure, and the weight of a title bout. The engine of each episode is the countdown itself: sparring sessions, roadwork, and quiet moments at home stack up toward a fight that both camps treat as a defining event. The tone is focused and measured, with rivalry tension running beneath mutual respect and an intimate look at what elite preparation costs. Fans of Drive to Survive and Full Swing will find resonance in its access-driven, athlete-centered portrait of high stakes competition. The short format makes it a compact, immersive watch for anyone drawn to professional boxing.
