## Synopsis

Yes, Dear (2000-2006) is an American multi-camera family sitcom created by Greg Garcia and Alan Kirschenbaum for CBS. Anthony Clark plays Greg Warner, a successful man whose hardest job is keeping his anxious wife calm, while Jean Louisa Kelly plays Kim Warner, a neurotic stay-at-home mother determined to raise the perfect children. Liza Snyder plays Christine Hughes, Kim's down-to-earth sister who keeps reminding her that life will never be perfect, and Mike O'Malley plays Jimmy Hughes, Christine's husband, who delivers unsolicited philosophies about being a husband and father while trying to remain a man. The engine of each episode is the friction between two couples with opposing parenting styles, playing out through everyday schemes, dinners, and small household crises in a suburban setting. The series runs six seasons with a studio audience and a fast, joke-driven rhythm, its tone light, breezy, and warmly absurd. Its shape is episodic, with self-contained stories that can be watched in any order. Fans of Everybody Loves Raymond, The King of Queens, and Still Standing will find the same domestic bickering and in-law comedy here.
