## Synopsis

That's So Raven (2003-2007) is a United States Disney Channel family sitcom created by Michael Poryes. Raven Baxter (Raven-Symoné) is a San Francisco high school teenager who glimpses fragments of the future, and her visions drive a steady stream of schemes meant to fix small everyday problems like crushes, grades and social blunders. She enlists her best friends Eddie Thomas (Orlando Brown) and Chelsea Daniels (Anneliese Van Der Pol) to help carry out her plans, while her younger brother Cory Baxter (Kyle Massey) runs get-rich-quick hustles that keep dragging the household into trouble. Their parents Tanya (T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh) and Victor Baxter (Rondell Sheridan) anchor the family scenes that give each episode its warmth. The series runs four seasons and a total of one hundred episodes, structured as self-contained comedic stories of about twenty-three minutes each. Its engine is the comic gap between Raven's confident foresight and the messy way events actually unfold. The atmosphere is whimsical, bright and gentle, rooted in the everyday texture of a Bay Area family. Fans of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Wizards of Waverly Place and Hannah Montana will find the same mix of supernatural teen mischief and family warmth.
