## Synopsis

The Fairly OddParents (2001-2017) is a Canadian-American animated kids comedy created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. Ten-year-old Timmy Turner (voiced by Tara Strong) lives with his nagging parents, Wanda and Mr. Turner (voiced by Susanne Blakeslee and Daran Norris), while his fairy godparents Cosmo and Wanda (voiced by Daran Norris and Susanne Blakeslee) grant his every wish. Timmy's engine is simple: he wants to escape school, bullies, and adult rules, and each wish he makes spirals into escalating chaos that his godparents must clean up before anyone notices. Each twelve-minute episode is a self-contained case of the week, so the show plays as a lively, fast-paced cartoon with a long run of ten seasons and 268 episodes. Set in a modern suburban town, it runs on slapstick energy, wish-gone-wrong plots, and a rotating cast of rivals including Denzel Crocker (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) and Vicky (voiced by Grey DeLisle). Its tone is zany, breezy, and irreverent, with a playful, childlike sense of wonder. Fans of SpongeBob SquarePants, Danny Phantom and Ed, Edd n Eddy will find resonance in its absurd humor and kid-centered fantasy.
