## Synopsis

Life Science (Hayat Bilgisi, 2003-2006) is a Turkish national-television teen drama series created by Gani Müjde for Kanal D and Show TV. Centered on the humorous and genuine world of Ridvan Kanat High School, the story follows the beloved life science class teacher Afet Hoca, played by Perran Kutman, as she becomes a steady presence for a group of restless students. Principal characters include the teacher's student Kerem Pikaçu Güçverir (Kerem Kupacı), Amil Sağlam (Tarık Papuççuoğlu) and Sevda Sağlam (Belma Canciğer), whose friendships, crushes and rivalries drive most episodes. The engine of the show is everyday school life: classroom mishaps, teenage romance, family pressure and the small dramas of growing up, each episode built around a fresh problem brought into the classroom. Across four seasons and 137 episodes, the series keeps a single continuing ensemble. Its tone is warm, lightly comic and sincere, with a gentle nostalgia for adolescence. Fans of Degrassi: The Next Generation and Beverly Hills, 90210 will find resonance in its blend of school comedy and heartfelt teen drama, set in a modern Turkish city.
