## Synopsis

Happy Together (2007-2008) is a Greek national-television family sitcom created by Rena Riga and broadcast on Mega TV. Across two seasons and sixty episodes of roughly forty-five minutes each, it follows Dionysis Mavrotsoukalos (Giannis Bezos), a widowed father of three sons, and Eleni Palaiologou (Katerina Lehou), a mother of two daughters, as they fall in love and decide to live together as one family. The engine of the show is the daily negotiation of combining two households: rival siblings sharing bedrooms, teenage crushes, parental disagreements, and the comic collisions of two sets of habits under one roof. Principal characters include Markos Mavrotsoukalos (Petros Bousoulopoulos), Eva Palaiologou (Ioanna Pilihou) and Thanasis Mavrotsoukalos (Aris Tsapis), whose interpersonal bonds drive most episodes. Each episode is a self-contained domestic comedy built from ordinary family situations rather than a single overarching plot. The tone is warm, breezy and gently comic, with a cozy, hopeful feel. Fans of Modern Family, The Brady Bunch and other blended family sitcoms will find the same mix of affectionate chaos and sincere domestic warmth.
