## Synopsis

The End (2012) is a Turkish mystery drama series created by Berkun Oya for ATV, a single-season limited series of 25 ninety-minute episodes. Yiğit Özşener plays Selim, and Nehir Erdoğan plays Aylin, the devoted wife whose world fractures after a plane crash. The engine of the story is her attempt to understand what her marriage actually was, as each new discovery reframes the people closest to her. Erkan Can, Berrak Tüzünataç and Engin Altan Düzyatan round out the principal cast, and their characters' relationships pull the investigation of hidden truths in unexpected directions. Episodes unfold through flashbacks that gradually expose the gap between what the protagonist believed and what was real. Because the series runs as one continuous arc, each episode builds on the last, rewarding sustained attention. The tone is melancholic and tense, with an intimate domestic atmosphere that lets dread accumulate in quiet rooms and tense conversations. Fans of The Affair, Big Little Lies and The Leftovers will find resonance in its study of fractured intimacy, grief and the unreliability of the people we love most. It is a compact, emotionally heavy drama for viewers who enjoy slow reveals and character-driven suspense.
