## Synopsis

Nash Bridges (1996-2001) is an American network crime series created by Carlton Cuse for CBS. Don Johnson plays Nash Bridges, a fun-loving San Francisco Police Department investigator in the elite Special Investigations Unit, who works cases with a sharp sense of humor and easy charm. Cheech Marin plays Joe Dominguez, a retired officer pulled back into service as Bridges' wisecracking yet more rule-abiding partner, and their clashing styles drive much of the banter. Jodi Lyn O'Keefe appears as Cassidy Bridges, adding a personal thread to the lead's life beyond the job. Across six seasons and 122 episodes, the show is built as a case-of-the-week procedural, with each episode centering on a new crime that the partners chase through the streets, bars and neighborhoods of the city. The tone blends action, buddy comedy and crime drama, with a breezy, sunny atmosphere that keeps stakes light even when the violence is real. Fans of Miami Vice, Hunter and Lethal Weapon will find the same mix of cop-show action and partnership humor. Set in the modern-day Bay Area of the late 1990s, it offers an easygoing, nostalgic slice of network crime television with a flashy, charismatic lead.
