## Synopsis

Ozzy & Drix (2002-2004) is an American animated comedy series created for Kids' WB, a Warner Bros. Animation production based on the film Osmosis Jones. Set entirely inside the body of teenage Hector Cruz, the show follows the mismatched duo Osmosis Jones, a jittery white blood cell cop voiced by Phil LaMarr, and Drix, a wisecracking pill voiced by Jeff Bennett, as they patrol the bloodstream and defend their host from germs and microscopic threats. Hector himself, voiced by Justin Cowden, is the unknowing center of each episode, and the cells work through the daily mishaps of his life as mayor Paul Spryman and police chief Gluteus keep the body's districts in order. The engine of the series is the bickering partnership between the two heroes and the pressure of stopping invaders that threaten the city's stability. Across two seasons of thirteen episodes each, the show is episodic, with standalone missions that can be watched in any order. Its tone is breezy, silly and self-aware, with a playful sense of slapstick and wordplay. Viewers who enjoy the playful science lessons of The Magic School Bus or the zany animated buddy dynamics of Johnny Bravo will find a similar appeal in this bright, family-friendly world.
