## Synopsis

Love Undercover (2023) is a Turkish romantic comedy miniseries broadcast on FOX, a nine-episode limited series with a single season. Intelligence agent Onur Karasu (Şükrü Özyıldız), recently promoted to head of his department, sets out to bring down jewelry magnate Civan Koral (Tuğrul Tülek), whom he suspects of hiding documents about his illegal business in his house safe. To get inside, Onur begins a relationship with Civan's sister Hilal (Aslı Sümen) and then proposes in a rush so that he can open the safe on their engagement day. His plan runs into Hilal's sharp-tongued best friend Ece (Burcu Özberk), who is tracking Onur's movements and is quickly caught by him. The two are forced into an uneasy partnership that neither wants. The engine is deception, escalating cover stories, and the friction between two people who are opposite in every way. Each episode is built around the mounting risks of a fake engagement inside a wealthy family. The tone is breezy and playful, with sparks of romance and comic reversals. Fans of Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Burn Notice will find resonance in its blend of spy-style deception and banter-driven romance, set in contemporary Istanbul among the city's affluent circles.
