## Synopsis

Les Invincibles (2005-2009) is a Quebec French-language comedy drama series created by François Létourneau and Jean-François Rivard for ICI Radio-Canada Télé. Four twenty-something men, among them Carlos Fréchette (Pierre-François Legendre), Rémi Durocher (Rémi-Pierre Paquin), Steve Chouinard (Patrice Robitaille) and Pierre-Antoine 'P.A.' Robitaille (François Létourneau), sign a pact to end their current relationships at the same moment and commit to a shared, responsibility-free life. The engine of the show is the gap between that bachelor fantasy and the messy realities of work, romance and loyalty that keep catching up with them. Each episode tracks their misadventures and awkward romantic entanglements around Montreal, with women such as Lyne Boisvert (Catherine Trudeau) and Vicky (Amélie Bernard) testing the pact. Running three seasons and 35 episodes, it is a contemporary, grounded serial whose arcs build across the run. The tone is bittersweet and wry, mixing sharp banter with a more reflective look at male friendship and commitment. Fans of How I Met Your Mother and Girls will find resonance in its cast of friends wrestling with adulthood in a big city.
