## Synopsis

Seksenler (2012-2022) is a Turkish family comedy-drama series created by Birol Güven and broadcast on TRT 1, a national-television staple that spans ten seasons and 655 episodes. Centered on the Özdemir household, it follows Fehmi Özdemir (Rasim Öztekin) and Rukiye Özdemir (Özlem Türkad) alongside their children, with Ahmet Özdemir (Şoray Uzun), Çağatay Özdemir (İlker Ayrık) and Nazlı Özdemir/Urgan (Yasemin Baştan) among the principal family members. Its engine is the everyday friction of a family navigating work, marriage, school and neighborhood life, with each episode built from small domestic situations that accumulate over a long run. The series is a single continuing saga rather than a case-of-the-week format, and it grows out of a Turkish tradition of long-running family television. Set in 1980s Turkey, it uses the period as a warm backdrop for recognizable household routines. The tone is sincere, amused and joyful, with a nostalgic glow that invites viewers who enjoy wholesome family storytelling. Fans of The Wonder Years, Everybody Loves Raymond and Kurtlar Vadisi will find resonance in its blend of humor, sentiment and generational texture.
