## Synopsis

Sleepy Hollow (2013-2017) is an American supernatural mystery series created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove and Len Wiseman for FOX. Tom Mison plays Ichabod Crane, an 18th-century British soldier resurrected and pulled roughly two and a half centuries forward into present-day Sleepy Hollow, Massachusetts. Nicole Beharie plays Abbie Mills, a modern police lieutenant who becomes his unlikely partner, and Lyndie Greenwood plays her sister Jenny Mills, whose connection to the mystery deepens over time. Ichabod wants to understand the modern world while unraveling a conspiracy that stretches back to the founding fathers, and each week brings a new supernatural creature or threat that the pair must track down and contain. Across four seasons and sixty-two episodes, it is a serialized mythology-driven drama with case-of-the-week procedural beats layered over a larger arc. Its tone is moody and atmospheric, with a sense of a familiar American town slightly off from the one we know. Fans of Grimm, Outlander and Timeless will find resonance in its blend of historical displacement and monster-of-the-week investigation.
