## Synopsis

Extremely Family Friendly (2001-2003) is a Greek national-television family sitcom created by Rena Riga and Panos Amarantidis for ANT1. The series follows the everyday life of one crowded household: a lawyer husband, his wife, four children, a gambling grandmother, a jinxed aunt and a household rabbit. Alexandros Theotokatos is played by Giannis Bezos, Margarita Petridou-Theotokatou by Natalia Tsaliki, and Aunt Julia Hourmouziadou by Sofia Olympiou, anchoring the ensemble. Its engine is the constant friction of a large family sharing one home, where small schemes, bad luck and clashing personalities turn ordinary days into escalating comic set pieces. Each forty five minute episode is a self-contained slice of domestic mischief rather than a continuing plot, and the series runs for two seasons and 48 episodes. Set in contemporary Greece, it is warm, breezy and affectionate, with a comforting family-first register. Fans of Everybody Loves Raymond, Malcolm in the Middle and The Middle will find resonance in its loving portrait of a loud, eccentric household.
