## Synopsis

Kokkinos Kyklos (2000-2002) is a Greek crime anthology series created by Alexandros Kakavas and Christos Doumas and broadcast on Alpha TV. Each of its standalone episodes dramatizes a crime that shocked public opinion, but the names, faces and circumstances are altered so that no real person or situation can be recognized. The episodes are built around one hero who is chosen as the story's central figure, and that hero may be the perpetrator or the victim. Through this shifting vantage point the series asks how far its stories depart from the truth, suggesting that every person carries a personal version of events. Its atmosphere moves between intimate drama and taut thriller, with tension driven by moral choices, guilt and the reasons people cross the line. The fifty episodes across two seasons stand on their own, so viewers can start anywhere in the run. Cast members include Peny Agorastou, Giorgos Giannopoulos, Giorgos Souxes and Kostas Falelakis. Fans of Law & Order, American Crime Story and Dexter will find a similar appetite for crime told from inside the characters' minds, while the Greek production gives the stories a distinctly local, grounded feel.
