## Synopsis

Undateable (2014-2016) is an American multi-camera sitcom created by Adam Sztykiel for NBC. Chris D'Elia plays Danny Burton, a carefree single man in his thirties who has watched his friends pair off, and Brent Morin plays Justin Kearney, the owner of Black Eyes Bar in Detroit, whose name is constantly mispronounced as Black Guys Bar. When Danny needs a new roommate after his last single friend moves out, he gets drawn into Justin's circle, a group of oddballs including Ron Funches as the eccentric Shelly, Rick Glassman as the nerdy Burski, and David Fynn as the recently out Brett. The engine of the show is Danny's romantic restlessness set against a group that seems hopelessly unlucky in love, with each episode built around dates, bar nights, and awkward social gatherings. The series runs for three seasons and thirty-four episodes in a single continuing run. Its tone is breezy, warm, and full of cringe-prone banter, with a sincere affection for its misfits. Fans of How I Met Your Mother, New Girl and Friends will find the same mix of ensemble chemistry and romantic mishap.
