## Synopsis

Dilbert (1999-2000) is a US animated workplace satire series created by Scott Adams and Larry Charles for UPN. Adapted from Scott Adams' comic strip, it follows Dilbert (voiced by Daniel Stern), a socially awkward but highly competent engineer whose real struggle is the dysfunctional company he works for. Each short episode is built from the daily frustrations of modern office life: pointless meetings, clueless managers, and bizarre company policies handed down from above. The principal supporting figures include the Pointy-Haired Boss (Larry Miller), the schemer Wally (Gordon Hunt), and the sardonic talking dog Dogbert (Chris Elliott), with Jason Alexander voicing the HR-minded Catbert. The show runs for two seasons across thirty episodes, with a deadpan, cynical tone and a sharp eye for the absurd. Each episode is a self-contained gag-driven vignette rather than a continuing storyline. Fans of The Office, King of the Hill and Office Space will find resonance in its satire of corporate life, its deadpan humor and its mocking portrait of managerial incompetence.
