## Synopsis

Two Weeks (2013) is a South Korean crime thriller series broadcast on MBC, a single-season run of sixteen hour-long episodes. Lee Joon-gi plays Jang Tae-san, an aimless man whose life turns upside down when he is wrongfully accused of murder and has only two weeks to save his seriously ill daughter. Park Ha-seon plays Seo In-hye, a character tied to the central mystery, while Ryu Soo-young, Kim So-yeon, and Jo Min-ki fill out the investigation and the web of suspects. The engine of the story is a father's desperate race against an unforgiving clock: he must evade the authorities, dig into the real crime, and keep his daughter's treatment in view, one revelation pushing against the next. Each episode tightens the noose around him, with pursuit, betrayal, and hard choices driving the momentum. The tone is tense and emotionally raw, with moments of quiet grief tempering the chase. Fans of The Fugitive and the Korean crime tradition of gritty, character-driven thrillers will find resonance here. The series is a contained, self-finished story rather than an open-ended saga, making it a compact and absorbing watch for viewers who want suspense with a strong emotional core.
