## Synopsis

The Fall Guy (1981-1986) is an American action adventure series created by Glen A. Larson for ABC. Lee Majors plays Colt Seavers, a Hollywood stuntman who takes on bail jumper hunting to earn extra money, with Douglas Barr as his sidekick Howie Munson and Heather Thomas as Jody Banks, a camera operator who gets drawn into his capers. Across five seasons and 111 episodes of roughly 47 minutes each, the show runs as a case of the week format where Colt tracks down a fugitive, usually with a stunt filled chase, a brawl, or a crashed pickup truck along the way. The engine is the easy money side job colliding with the stunt trade's physical risks, and each episode is built from a capture plan that goes wrong in the most entertaining way. Set in 1980s Los Angeles, the tone stays breezy and playful, with banter between friends, bright set pieces, and a warm sense of camaraderie. Fans of The A-Team, Knight Rider and Hart to Hart will find resonance in its mix of gags, action and easygoing charm. Its family friendly, mostly bloodless spirit makes it an easy watch for a relaxed evening.
