## Synopsis

The Hentai Prince and the Stony Cat (2013) is a Japanese animated supernatural romantic comedy series created for TOKYO MX and produced by J.C.STAFF, adapted from a light novel. Schoolboy Yōto Yokodera (voiced by Yuki Kaji) hopes to shed the emotional mask that keeps him from expressing himself, so he makes an offering to the rumored wish-granting Stony Cat. His wish backfires when the facade passes to a classmate who needs it more, and Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi (voiced by Yui Ogura) finds herself unable to show even the slightest feeling on her face. Tied together by the same bad bargain, the two search for a way to reverse the damage. The series spans a single twelve-episode season of brisk, episodic school-life mishaps layered over a slow-building emotional tension. Its tone is playful and deadpan, with flashes of ecchi comedy and light fantasy on an everyday Japanese campus. Fans of Kamisama Kiss, Rosario + Vampire and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War will find a similar blend of supernatural wish mechanics and awkward romance.
