## Synopsis

Two Strangers (1997-1999) is a Greek television comedy-drama series created by Alexandros Rigas and Dimitris Apostolou, broadcast on Mega TV. Konstadinos Markoras (Nikos Sergianopoulos) is a demanding director who runs a high profile drama school in Athens. Marina Kountouratou (Evelina Papoulia), a beautiful presenter of a silly television show, enrolls in his classes to escape her reputation as a dumb blonde and be taken seriously as an actress. Konstadinos has no patience for the crazy newcomer, and the classroom becomes a battleground of rehearsal rivalries, wounded pride and sharp exchanges that slowly turn into something more personal. The engine of the series is that gap between how Marina is seen and what she wants to be, pushing against his skepticism at every turn. Across two seasons and fifty-nine episodes, the show moves through school life, auditions and the backstage world of Greek theatre and television. Supporting players include Nikos Sideris as Labis, Dina Consta as Nteni Markora and Dimitris Tsoutsis as Nikiforos Kassimatis. The tone is light and sparkling, with warm banter and a romantic tension that tightens gradually. Fans of Moonlighting and Remington Steele will find resonance in its sparring leads and playful romance, while viewers drawn to Greek television comedy will feel at home.
