## Synopsis

I want to get married (2010) is an Egyptian television comedy-drama created by Ghada Abdel Aal and broadcast on MBC 1 and Nile Drama. Hend Sabry stars as Ola, a pharmacist who is determined to settle down before she turns thirty, while Ahmed Fouad Selim plays Abdelsabour, Sawsan Badr plays Suhair, and Tarek El Ebiary plays Hazem among her family and circle. The engine of the series is simple and relentless: Ola wants a husband, her family insists she accept the first man who proposes, and each episode builds around a new suitor whose courtship turns into a comic misadventure. Its 30 episodes of roughly 38 minutes form a single self-contained season rather than a serialized saga, with each proposal offering a fresh set of embarrassing encounters at home and at work. The tone is light, warm and breezy, with sharp domestic observation of Cairo family life and the anxious comedy of a woman whose clock feels louder than her choices. Fans of Sex and the City, Bridget Jones's Diary and Everybody Loves Raymond will find resonance in its blend of romantic misfires, relatable pressure and affectionate family humor.
