## Synopsis

Cachito de Cielo (2012) is a Mexican telenovela created by Mario Schajris for Las Estrellas, produced for Televisa. Pedro Fernández plays Salvador Santillán, known as Chava or Cachito, a man given a second chance at life in a new body, while Maite Perroni plays Renata Landeros, the woman whose world he re-enters. Their romance is threaded through the tangled loyalties of rival households, with Rafael Inclán as Ernesto Pupi Landeros and Jorge Poza as Fabio Montenegro driving the antagonism that keeps the lovers apart. Esmeralda Pimentel and Sofía Castro round out a cast of wealthy families, secrets and shifting alliances. Each episode is built from confrontations, misunderstandings and emotional reversals that push the central couple toward and away from one another across a single, complete run of 110 episodes. The series borrows its premise from the films Here Comes Mr. Jordan and Heaven Can Wait, grafting their celestial second-chance idea onto the classic telenovela engine. The tone is sweeping and sentimental, with melodramatic swells, heartbreak and romantic longing foregrounded throughout. Fans of Heaven Can Wait, Here Comes Mr. Jordan and Rubí will find the same blend of heavenly whimsy and romantic melodrama here. Set in contemporary Mexico, it offers a warm, emotional escape built on devotion and the hope of a fresh start.
