## Synopsis

Nowhere Boys (2013-2018) is an Australian teen science fiction fantasy series created by Tony Ayres and broadcast on ABC Me. Four teenage boys, Felix Ferne (Dougie Baldwin), Luke Hamill (Kamil Ellis), Andy Lau (Joel Lok) and Heath Buckland (Joe Klocek), get lost in a forest and come home to discover that they are living in an alternate version of their town where they were never born. Their engine is the struggle to find a way back to their real lives while navigating a world that has no record of them, with friends, families and strangers reacting to them as if they do not exist. Each season unfolds across thirteen half-hour episodes that move the mystery along through magical complications and mounting personal stakes. The show spans four seasons and fifty-two episodes in total, and its tone is earnest, warm and adventurous rather than dark. Its mix of mirror-world intrigue and youthful friendship will appeal to fans of Stranger Things and Charlie Jade, and to viewers seeking a gentle family-friendly fantasy with a sense of wonder. Set in contemporary suburban Australia, the series keeps its focus on the emotional bonds between its young protagonists.
