## Synopsis

Dusk Maiden of Amnesia (2012) is a Japanese animated supernatural mystery series produced by Silver Link. First-year high school student Teiichi Niiya (voiced by Tsubasa Yonaga) enrolls at Seikyou Private Academy and meets Yuuko Kanoe (voiced by Yumi Hara), a ghost who cannot remember her own past. Teiichi resolves to uncover how she died by working through the school's infamous Seven Mysteries, joined by Yuuko's relative Kirie Kanoe (voiced by Eri Kitamura) and the oblivious second-year Momoe Okonogi (voiced by Misato Fukuen). Each episode follows a local ghost story, with the investigators helping troubled students while edging closer to the truth behind Yuuko's death. The series is a single twelve-episode season with a serialized undercurrent that unfolds across the whole run. Its tone mixes playful school-life comedy with a wistful, melancholic core, and the romance between the living boy and the restless ghost gives the mysteries an emotional pull. Set in a contemporary Japanese high school, it has the feel of a shonen anime with light fan service and occasional darker moments. Fans of Another, Hyouka and Mysterious Girlfriend X will find resonance in its blend of school setting, ghost lore and gentle romance.
