## Synopsis

100 Höjdare (2004-2008) is a Swedish national-television clip countdown comedy series created by Filip Hammar and Fredrik Wikingsson for Kanal 5. Its two comedian hosts, Filip Hammar and Fredrik Wikingsson, play themselves as the engine of the show: across its first three seasons they assemble a ranked list of the funniest moments they can find, presenting each as a short video clip and riffing on it with a sardonic, conversational wit. Guest appearances from figures such as Ingvar Oldsberg, Ebbot Lundberg and Ernst Billgren add variety, and in the second and third seasons celebrities join the hosts to discuss the clips in more depth. Starting with season four, the format changes: instead of clips, the duo conducts impromptu interviews with ordinary people, often inside their homes, which gives the series a more intimate, observational texture. Running six seasons and fifty-two episodes of roughly twenty-five minutes each, it is light, episodic and easy to dip into. The tone is breezy, irreverent and nostalgic about Swedish popular culture, with a deadpan humor that suits fans of clip shows and comedic talk formats such as Talk Soup and Chelsea Lately. Viewers who enjoy pop culture retrospectives will find the series a warm, playful companion.
