## Synopsis

Mona the Vampire (1999-2002) is a Canadian animated children's comedy series created by Sonia Holleyman for YTV. Mona Parker, a young girl with a vivid imagination, leads her two best friends, Charley 'Zapman' Bones (Justin Bradley) and Doll (Jessica Kardos), along with her pet cat Fang, through imagined encounters with supernatural foes and mysteries. Her friend Belinda (Holly Gauthier-Frankel) and classmate Lily 'Princess Giant' Duncan (Carrie Finlay) also round out the cast of voices. The engine of each episode is the gap between ordinary school life and the fantasy Mona conjures, so a mundane afternoon can turn into a monster hunt, a rescue or a puzzle to solve. Structured as a self-contained adventure in each installment across five seasons and seventy-eight episodes, the series offers a playful, whimsical atmosphere with gentle humor and warm friendship at its center. Its look and tone sit in the lineage of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and Hey Arnold!, making it an easy, cozy pick for younger viewers and families who enjoy kid-friendly supernatural comedy.
