## Synopsis

Death Comes to Pemberley (2013) is a British BBC One period murder mystery miniseries created by Juliette Towhidi, adapted from P. D. James' novel and framed as a sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. Matthew Rhys plays Fitzwilliam Darcy and Anna Maxwell Martin plays Elizabeth Darcy, the couple now settled into married life at their Derbyshire estate. Matthew Goode plays George Wickham, whose shadow falls across the household, while Jenna Coleman plays Lydia Wickham, who bursts into Pemberley screaming that her husband has been murdered.
