## Synopsis

Mighty Med (2013-2015) is an American kids and family science fiction comedy series created by Andy Schwartz and Jim Bernstein for Disney XD. Two comic book fanboys, Kaz (Bradley Steven Perry) and Oliver (Jake Short), discover a secret hospital built to treat injured superheroes and are offered the job of a lifetime there. Their friend Alan Diaz (Devan Leos) is drawn into the same world, and Dorenbosch (Augie Isaac) appears as a recurring presence in the staff. The engine of each episode is simple: the young staffers must treat a patient with an unusual power, keep their secret from the outside world, and prove they belong among the heroes they once only read about. The show runs as a light, episodic comedy with recurring characters, so viewers can jump in at almost any point. Its tone is breezy, cheerful and gently self-aware, with a steady affection for superhero lore and fan culture. Fans of Teen Titans Go!, Max Steel and Smallville will find a similar mix of youthful energy, comic-book sensibility and everyday heroism. Across its two seasons and 48 episodes, the series delivers wholesome, kid-friendly fun in a world where ordinary teens get a backstage pass to the superhero universe.
