## Synopsis

Camp Lazlo (2005-2008) is a United States animated comedy created by Joe Murray for Cartoon Network, a family-friendly cartoon in the tradition of Cartoon Network's surreal kids' comedies. Set in a universe populated entirely by anthropomorphic animals, it follows the eccentric, optimistic spider monkey Lazlo (voiced by Carlos Alazraqui) and his timid elephant friend Raj (voiced by Jeff Bennett) and quiet albino pygmy rhinoceros Clam, a trio of campers at a poorly run summer camp nicknamed Camp Kidney. Their goal is simple: enjoy a summer at camp, while the counselors, the staff and their own wild imaginations keep throwing surreal obstacles in their path. Each episode is a self-contained misadventure built from slapstick mishaps, quirky camp rituals and absurd sight gags. Scoutmaster Lumpus, voiced by Tom Kenny, adds a gleefully unhinged authority figure to the chaos. The tone is breezy, whimsical and warmly silly, with a cheerful sense of nostalgia for childhood summers. Fans of SpongeBob SquarePants, Ed, Edd n Eddy and Courage the Cowardly Dog will find similar absurd energy and loyal friendship at the heart of the humor.
