## Synopsis

Wolfblood (2012-2017) is a British children's supernatural teen drama series created by Debbie Moon for CBBC. Fourteen-year-old Maddy Smith (Aimee Kelly) loves the speed, strength and heightened senses that come with being a Wolfblood, but hates the secrets she must keep from her human classmates and family. Alongside her she faces Rhydian Morris (Bobby Lockwood), another wolfblood whose loyalties and feelings are tangled, and a close circle of friends played by Shorelle Hepkin and Rachel Teate. Each story is built from everyday school corridors, friendship fallouts and the constant risk of a slip that exposes the pack's hidden world. The series runs for five seasons and sixty-two episodes of brisk, self-contained adventures that also carry a serialized thread about belonging and identity. Set in the rural north of England, its rugged moorland landscape gives the show a wild, slightly melancholic atmosphere. Its tone is warm and playful yet tense with dread about exposure. Fans of Teen Wolf, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and other young-adult supernatural dramas will find the same blend of teenage angst and monstrous secrets here.
