## Synopsis

Bosch (2015-2021) is an American crime drama series created by Eric Overmyer for Prime Video. LAPD homicide detective Harry Bosch, played by Titus Welliver, is a stubborn, driven investigator who stands trial for the fatal shooting of a serial murder suspect while still chasing the cases that matter most to him. Jamie Hector plays his partner Jerry Edgar, Lance Reddick plays Irvin Irving, and Madison Lintz plays Maddie Bosch, the daughter whose relationship with her father anchors much of the story. Each season is built around a long-form investigation, with cold cases resurfacing, witnesses shifting, and departmental politics tightening around every move. Set in present-day Los Angeles, the show moves through the city's neighborhoods, interrogation rooms, and crowded precincts with a patient, grounded pace. The tone is tense and brooding, with a noir-tinged moral weariness that rewards close attention. Its strengths are the layered mysteries and the slow accumulation of character history rather than flashy set pieces. Fans of True Detective, Twin Peaks and Dragnet will find the same hardboiled detective tradition here, a seven-season serialized crime saga that holds its grip from start to finish.
