## Synopsis

Dominion (2014-2015) is an American supernatural science fiction drama created by Scott Stewart and Vaun Wilmott for Syfy, based on characters from the film Legion. Set in a post-apocalyptic future some 25 years after a war of possession, the story follows a rebellious young soldier, played by Christopher Egan as Alex Lannen, who sets out on a perilous journey as the conflict between humanity and the fallen angels escalates. Tom Wisdom plays Michael, the archangel who turns against his own kind to side with the human survivors. Roxanne McKee plays Claire Rysen, and Alan Dale plays General Rysen, both tied to the power struggle inside Vega, the largest of the newly fortified cities, where two rival houses compete for control. Anthony Stewart Head appears as David Weel and Carl Beukes as Gabriel, the archangel commanding the lower angels. The show runs across two seasons totaling twenty-one one-hour episodes and was canceled on a cliffhanger. Its engine is survival in a besieged world, with political intrigue and military action unfolding in the ruins of the old world. Tone is dark, gritty and apocalyptic, with a brooding sense of faith, betrayal and dread. Fans of Legion, Supernatural and Falling Skies will find resonance in its blend of biblical mythology and survival drama.
