## Synopsis

Ace of the Diamond (2013-present) is a Japanese animated sports anime series produced by Production I.G, Madhouse, and OLM, broadcast on TV Tokyo and affiliated stations. Brash left-handed pitcher Eijun Sawamura (voiced by Ryota Osaka) joins the baseball powerhouse Seido High School, where he is determined to win the undisputed ace position. Catcher Kazuya Miyuki (voiced by Takahiro Sakurai) and fellow players such as Satoru Furuya (voiced by Nobunaga Shimazaki) and Haruichi Kominato (voiced by Natsuki Hanae) shape the team around him. The engine of the show is the grind of practice sessions, rival pitchers competing for places, and tournament games that test each player's nerve and skill. Across four seasons, it unfolds as one continuing story with a long run of episodes that build steadily toward the next big match. Set in contemporary Japanese high school baseball culture, it carries the earnest, determined energy of classic shonen sports anime. Its tone is spirited and warm, with friendship and rivalry running side by side. Fans of Haikyu!!, Major and Prince of Tennis will find resonance in its team competition and youthful drive.
