## Synopsis

Stalker (2014-2015) is an American crime drama created by Kevin Williamson for CBS. Set in present-day Los Angeles, the series follows Lt. Beth Davis (Maggie Q), a driven commander of the LAPD's Threat Assessment Unit, whose own past as a harassment victim fuels her determination. She leads a team that investigates stalking, voyeurism, cyberharassment and romantic fixation, with Jack Larsen (Dylan McDermott), a recent transfer whose questionable conduct has followed him, and the young but eager Detective Ben Caldwell (Victor Rasuk) working alongside the deceptively sharp Janice Lawrence (Mariana Klaveno). Each case is a tense hunt where the detectives try to stop situations from spiraling out of control, while the pull of their own fixations threatens to undermine them. The single season of twenty episodes is a case-driven procedural with a psychological edge, carrying a brooding, unsettling tone and a steady sense of dread. Fans of Criminal Minds, The Closer and Cold Case will find resonance in its blend of investigation and suspense.
