## Synopsis

Scorpion (2014-2018) is an American network procedural series created by Nick Santora for CBS. Eccentric genius Walter O'Brien (Elyes Gabel) leads a team of brilliant misfits, including behaviorist Toby Curtis (Eddie Kaye Thomas), mechanic prodigy Happy Quinn (Jadyn Wong) and statistics expert Sylvester Dodd (Ari Stidham), as Homeland Security's new think tank. Their engine is simple: each week a complex, high-tech threat lands on their desk, and they must solve it fast while navigating government bureaucracy and their own social friction. Working alongside Paige Dineen (Katharine McPhee), a practical waitress turned team liaison, the group balances brisk problem solving with humor and warmth. The show runs four seasons across ninety-three episodes, built around self-contained case-of-the-week stories that gradually deepen the bonds among the characters. Its tone is cheesy, upbeat and entertaining, with a sincere belief in the power of unconventional minds. Fans of Numb3rs, Person of Interest and Covert Affairs will find similar resonance in its blend of technology, crime and camaraderie.
