## Synopsis

iZombie (2015-2019) is an American supernatural crime comedy-drama created by Diane Ruggiero-Wright and Rob Thomas for The CW, adapted from the DC Vertigo comic. Rose McIver plays Olivia Moore, a medical student turned zombie who takes a job at a Seattle coroner's office so she can reach the brains she must reluctantly eat to keep her humanity. Each brain carries the memories of its former owner, and Liv uses those visions to crack the murders alongside medical examiner Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli) and police detective Clive Babinaux (Malcolm Goodwin). The engine is a double life: a case of the week that must be solved before Liv's hunger, and her own conscience, forces a choice. Across five seasons of 71 episodes, the show balances standalone morgue mysteries with a longer serialized thread about the cure and the people chasing her. The tone mixes gruesome crime imagery with sharp, sardonic humor and warm friendships. Fans of Pushing Daisies, Bones and Veronica Mars will find resonance in its quirky, morally tangled take on the procedural.
