## Synopsis

Black Money Love (2014-2015) is a Turkish crime drama mystery series created by Sema Ergenekon and Eylem Canpolat for atv, a two-season serialized run spanning fifty-four episodes. Police officer Ömer (Engin Akyürek) is shattered when his fiancée Sibel dies in a suspicious incident, her body discovered on a cliff in a car beside an older, wealthy businessman. Ömer refuses to accept the official picture and begins to suspect that far more lies behind the death, while accusations of infidelity cloud his relationship and his trust in the people around him. Elif Denizer (Tuba Büyüküstün) and Zerrin Denizer (Nebahat Çehre) are drawn into the widening web of secrets, and Tayyar Dündar (Erkan Can) and Metin (Saygın Soysal) embody the shifting loyalties at its edges. The engine of the show is the slow accumulation of clues, false leads and buried money that stands between Ömer and the truth, with kidnapping plots and dangerous confrontations escalating episode by episode. Set in contemporary Turkey, the story moves through modern cities and the moneyed circles that protect the guilty. The tone is brooding, emotionally raw and tense, with a melodramatic heart in the vein of Behzat Ç. and The Night Of, and fans of serialized mysteries that merge romance with conspiracy will find resonance here.
