## Synopsis

Hand of God (2014-2017) is an American crime drama series created by Ben Watkins for Prime Video. Ron Perlman plays Judge Pernell Harris, a corrupt Texas judge whose breakdown convinces him that God is speaking directly to him and pushing him toward vigilante justice. Dana Delany plays Crystal Harris, his wife, and Garret Dillahunt plays KD, a figure drawn into his increasingly dangerous path. Each episode follows the judge as he weighs his legal career against his spiritual compulsions, with the tension building around the consequences of every act he commits in God's name. The show is a two-season serialized drama that uses a crime and courtroom framework to explore moral collapse, corruption, and faith as a force that demands action. Its tone is dark, tense, and morally uneasy, with a gritty texture and an unsettling sense that the protagonist's convictions are both sincere and dangerous. Fans of Dexter and Breaking Bad will find the same appeal in a compromised antihero whose choices escalate steadily. The series carries strong adult content and violence, and its atmosphere is driven more by psychological strain than by spectacle.
