## Synopsis

Stigma of the Wind (2007) is a Japanese seinen animated action fantasy series created by Yamato Takahiro and broadcast on TOKYO MX, a single-season run of twenty-four episodes adapted from a light novel. The story follows Kazuma Kannagi, who was banished from his powerful family after losing the succession of the sword Enraiha to his cousin Ayano Kannagi (voiced by Ayumi Fujimura) and who was judged too weak in the fire arts known as En-Jutsu. Years later he returns as Kazuma Yagami (Daisuke Ono), a skilled master of Fu-Jutsu, the wind arts, determined to prove his worth and confront the family that cast him out. Each episode builds around elemental duels and the clashing disciplines of rival clans, with the wind-arts protagonist pushing against hereditary pride and the rules of his bloodline. Produced by GONZO, the series mixes magic, super powers, and fast combat with a serious undertone about inheritance and belonging. Its tone is intense and brooding, with moments of rivalry and loyalty threaded through the battles. Fans of Shugo Chara!, Blood Blockade Battlefront, and Hellsing will find resonance in its supernatural action and clan-driven conflict.
