## Synopsis

Les Petits Meurtres d'Agatha Christie is a French-language period crime series set in 1930s France, adapting stories by Agatha Christie into standalone feature-length murder investigations. A small team of police investigators, led by a seasoned commissaire and a sharp detective pairing, untangles each death through interviews, alibis, and clues hidden among respectable suspects in elegant drawing rooms and provincial hotels. The engine of every episode is the puzzle itself: a closed circle of suspects, a concealed motive, and a reveal that rewards attentive viewers. Its tone stays light and playful, with wit, affectionate banter, and cozy period detail balancing the crimes, so the violence stays mostly offscreen and the mood remains warm. The look is polished and nostalgic, with costumes, cars, and interiors evoking the interwar years. Its episodic structure makes it easy to dip into, while the recurring characters give the series a comfortable familiarity. Viewers who enjoy classic whodunits, gentle comedy, and tidy puzzle plotting will find it a relaxed, satisfying companion.
