## Synopsis

Rage of Bahamut (2014-2017) is a Japanese animated fantasy action series produced by MAPPA and Cygames and adapted from the digital card game. Set in the magical land of Mistarcia, it follows Amira, a human woman who steals the god's half of a key that once sealed the dragon Bahamut, and the fugitive pursuit that follows. Favaro Leone, Cerberus, Kaisar Lidfard and Rita orbit this quest as the gods, demons and humans of the realm are drawn into conflict over the ancient seal. The engine of the story is a chase across a realm that has known peace for centuries, with each episode built around clashing battles, shifting alliances and magical confrontations. Across two seasons it plays as an accessible shonen-style anime with large action set pieces. The tone is bold and adventurous, with a sense of epic myth and high stakes. Fans of Fairy Tail and The Seven Deadly Sins will find familiar pleasures in its heroic energy and supernatural spectacle.
