## Synopsis

Trinity Seven (2014) is a Japanese anime series produced by Seven Arcs and aired on TV Tokyo and AT-X, adapted in the shounen tradition from a manga. Arata Kasuga, a student who wants nothing more than to rescue his cousin Hijiri after a bizarre disaster called the Collapse Phenomenon takes her to another world, enrolls at the Royal Biblia Academy to find a way to reverse it. Voiced by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Arata is surrounded by seven powerful female magic users known as the Trinity Seven, including Lilith Asami (Yumi Hara), Levi Kazama (Ayane Sakura) and Sherlock Lieselotte (Nao Toyama). The engine of each episode is the awkward, escalating domestic chaos of a boy living among gifted and volatile classmates, with magic duels, school routines and crowded dormitory mishaps stacking up around his search for answers. The single season of twelve twenty-four minute episodes is a harem romantic comedy that occasionally tips into earnest magical stakes, with a bright, playful register and fanservice-driven humor. Fans of High School DxD, The Familiar of Zero and Monster Musume will find a similar blend of ecchi energy and magic-school whimsy. The tone stays light and breezy throughout, with the worldwide catastrophe serving as a backdrop rather than a grim engine.
