## Synopsis

Healer (2014-2015) is a South Korean action thriller drama series created by Song Ji-na and Kim Jin-woo for KBS2, a single-season run of twenty one-hour episodes. Ji Chang-wook plays Seo Jung-hoo, the secretive man known only by the code name Healer, who works in the shadows to help people the system ignores. Park Min-young plays Chae Young-shin, a star reporter whose career brushes against his, while Yoo Ji-tae plays Kim Moon-ho, a powerful figure whose hidden dealings sit at the heart of a long-buried incident. Each episode moves through investigations, street fights and quiet confrontations as the reporter and a second-rate journalist chase fragments of the old case while the Healer stays just out of sight. The engine is concealment: every truth uncovered risks exposing someone, and every rescue risks revealing the man behind the mask. The series is a fast, suspenseful blend of crime investigation, romance and hand to hand action, set in contemporary Seoul with media offices, backstreets and corporate power. Its mood is tense and emotionally charged, with trauma and loyalty running beneath the spectacle. Fans of Signal and Stranger will find resonance in its mix of procedural detective work and morally tangled vigilante justice.
