## Synopsis

I manegen med Glenn Killing (1992) is a Swedish sketch comedy miniseries broadcast on SVT1 and produced by Strix Television. Comedy group Killinggänget made its television debut with this seven-episode run, a series of sketches and character pieces built around Glenn Killing (Henrik Schyffert), with Robert Gustafsson as the enigmatic Gästen, Jonas Inde playing Loke Martinsson and Tommy Bolin, and Johan Rheborg as Percy Nilegård, one of the group's original eccentrics. Each episode works as a loose parade of short sketches, linked by the sense of a live variety night where characters tumble into one another's routines. The formula is openly borrowed from the British variety show Vic Reeves Big Night Out, though most of the material is original and the performers lean on bold surreal exaggeration and deadpan timing. The mood is irreverent, playful and brisk, with a 1990s Scandinavian comedy sensibility throughout. Fans of Vic Reeves Big Night Out, Monty Python's Flying Circus and Swedish sketch shows like Snuttjakt will find resonance here, as a compact, character driven set of absurd variety turns.
