## Synopsis

Sin identidad (2014-2015) is a Spanish crime thriller series created by Sergi Belbel for Antena 3. Megan Montaner plays María Fuentes, a successful Madrid lawyer who learns she was adopted and sets out to find her biological parents. Her search leads her through a tangle of lies and betrayals involving Enrique Vergel (Tito Valverde), Francisco Fuentes (Jordi Rebellón) and Juan Prados (Daniel Grao), and it gradually exposes a human trafficking operation that pulls her toward a much darker path than she expected. Each episode builds the picture piece by piece, with the protagonist's polished professional life slowly cracking under the weight of what she finds. The series runs across two seasons and twenty-three episodes, mixing investigative suspense with family drama in a contemporary urban setting. Its tone is tense and emotionally charged, with a steady current of dread around the people who have been exploited. Fans of Big Little Lies and The Night Of will find resonance in its layered secrets and morally compromised characters, and Spanish crime viewers will recognize its brooding urban atmosphere.
