## Synopsis

Eye Candy (2015) is an American mystery thriller series created by Christian Taylor for MTV. Tech genius Lindy (Victoria Justice) is nudged by her roommate into online dating, and soon suspects that one of her mysterious suitors may be a deadly cyber stalker. Her engine is a personal hunt: she wants to prove her suspicion while staying ahead of the dates she is already sharing with the man she fears. She teams with the elusive cyber-police, a band of hackers who uncover a possible serial killer in Manhattan, and together they work through the murders with detective Tommy Calligan (Casey Deidrick) and fellow hacker Sophia Preston (Kiersey Clemons) on the investigation's edges. Each episode mixes hacking, surveillance, and clandestine detective work with the rhythm of romantic misdirection, so every date can be a clue. The series was a single ten-episode season, and its mix of glossy urban style, sharp suspicion, and vigilante energy has the feel of a contemporary cyber thriller. Its tone is breezy and suspenseful, with flirtatious banter cutting against real menace. Fans of You, Mr. Robot, and Hannibal will find resonance in its blend of obsession, technology, and predatory danger set against New York City nightlife.
